Motivational Product Or Cult Propaganda?

Is there more to motivational products than what meets the eye?  Many times there is much more to motivational products than one might think.  Have you ever seen the videos of these seminars and gatherings that these companies put on?  Sometimes when I see them I instantly feel like I’m watching a televangelist trying to get me to put money in the offering plate.

Motivational products are a great way to embed cult like propaganda into an unsuspecting new recruits.  To motivate can also be suggestive, a way a group or organization discreetly implants their agenda into your values for their own good.  A cult is defined as “devoted attachment to a person or principal”.  Brainwash is defined as “to indoctrinate so thoroughly as to effect a radical change of beliefs”.

That’s seems just what many of these products aim to do.  So when is it truly trying to make you a more positive and better person?  Maybe when there is real value in the product.  Not merely an attempt to recruit you into something promoting lifestyles of the rich and famous if you become part of this elite group.  To promote a motivational product completely on an idea that “if you join and buy these you will become rich” is in my opinion cult like and has negative intentions.

The people who are involved in some of these groups love to call people like me “negative”.  They consider me negative because I take the time to look at all aspects of what is being presented to me.  I don’t just immediately jump on board and try something someone wants me to try, especially when it involves large amounts of money.  I am a realist, not a negative person.  I have one of the most positive outlooks of most anybody.  I am also smart enough to know when something seems to good to be true or sense when someone is being deceptive to me.  I say approach motivational products with caution, especially if they come with a high price tag and make claims of financial wealth.

MLM or Direct Sales?

Multi Level Marketing (mlm) and Direct Sales.  What the hell is the difference you might ask?  I all depends on interpretation  I suppose.  In many cases they can be the same and others much different.  Many times MLM businesses are used to scam people, we all know that and we know it so well that usually a bell goes off when you hear MLM and you think scam.

To escape the disastrous effects that can come from being know as a MLM business, many businesses have adapted and changed their business model slightly to stay away from that nasty word.

One business I talk about often on this site makes the claim of “Not MLM” on all their sites.  Once you reach a certain level in this group that is true and it becomes what they call direct sales.  You don’t start out this way and it seems from all that I have talked to its very difficult for most people to reach the stage at which you are direct sales.

Its just more deceptive and misleading advertising by this company to try to recruit more members.  Some of the members claim that no purchase of product is required.  Others say you do have to make a purchase to be involved.  There is no sharing of your sales, that is until you are qualified advisor.  There is also no money till you are a qualified advisor.  So it seems it does very much start out as MLM.  Just another deceptive tactic that doesn’t surprise me after what I have seen to this point.  Don’t be misled by claims of being “direct sales” and know what your really getting into.

Rachel Oliver Must Be A LLI Superstar

Rachel Oliver must have one of the most aggressive marketing and recruiting plans of any other Liberty League International member out there.  Her name creates such a buzz on here and it’s always followed by scam in the search keywords.

I believe you will find Rachel Oliver with the likes of Zenaida and friends, all with their websites cut from the same cloth showing them traveling the world and screwing off all day.  Rachel is clearly more successful at attracting new people to her group. Many can tell from past discussion on LLI there are arguments for either side.  Personally I believe LLI operates a business built on an overpriced product and deceptive marketing tactics to try to make a home business offer out of it.  Members that have yet to jump ship from LLI tell a different story.  I’m sure that some do make one hell of a living from it but there are more people who don’t.  Use caution and think twice before spending any money with these people.  Make sure you clearly know what you’re getting into.

While the idea of a business opportunity they have may not classify it as a scam, the greed that makes the products so expensive and the deceptive marketing makes it one in my opinion.  LLI has a decent idea for a business opportunity but you know, these guys aren’t living these lifestyles they portray on the websites buy giving you a valuable product a reasonable price.

PayPerPost.com!

I posted about a month ago about joining a new community of others like myself. What do we all have in common? We all have blogs and are members of payperpost. As a community we have just about every subject imaginable covered. I have anxiously been waiting approval and today I got the word!
I can across PayPerPost.com through my Commission Junction account while looking for new advertisers to help the monetary value of my site. I signed up for PayPerPost.com affiliate program but couldn’t resist signing up as a member myself. They bring the opportunities right to me, all I have to do is accept an offer and write!
Being new to the blogging community I still have many things to learn. But being part of the PayPerPost.com community, I have many experienced long time bloggers at my reach that can give me ideas and advice. Since joining a month ago I have spent much time browsing members blogs looking at what others are doing, or not doing. I’m not trying to make a copycat blog and mine is very different and stands apart like most all of them do. But you can still learn and make your blog more powerful by paying attention to those who are succeeding.
If you too have a blog and have not yet joined PayPerPost.com I would highly recommend it. It has so much to offer the blogging community. Why not get paid for something I am doing anyway right? I love being part of the community of others like me who love writing these blogs. Be sure and check it out today!
