Well today I have decided to withdraw from this project at the moment. The program is in beta, which isnt really that big a deal to me. But I am bothered by 1. The site seems off line for updating more than it is up. 2. All the bitching and fighting that goes on in the forum area. 3. I have had thousands of hits across my sites to date with a total of 5 ads played and revenue of .02 cents. I will keep the site bookmarked and check it every couple weeks hoping for a turn around and influx of stability. This is not ment to be a derogatory post aimed at tearing down the group. I hope things get better soon and wish the only the best.

One thing that has always bothered me and continues to bother me is America’s obsession with Hollywood. Today I wanted to see what people are searching for on Google so I look at the Google trends page where it shows the top 100 searches for the day. Today wasn’t as bad as yesterday but out of the top 100, they are almost all celebrities. My wife watches many reality TV shows, some of which absolutely drive me crazy. The Hills for example, we have a group of young adults whose most pressing issue is what to wear that day and who talked to so and so last night on the phone. This show strikes me as totally fake by the way. The wife swears its real but I don’t buy it. Totally scripted. What’s burns me the most though must be the fact that the kids are making millions for people like my wife that will watch them go eat dinner with their friends and gossip. Most of these people in the show are already spoiled rich kids. The rich get richer, and for doing less and less.
I hope some day people will start to care about true issues, family, friends, and just making the world a better place. Its time to stop caring so much about Paris Hilton, Brittany Spears, and all the other celebrity icons that truly have just been an embarrassment to the human race.

Today I watched the hearing on CNN where the oil companies where asking congress for 18 billion in tax incentives. It was quite interesting to watch. I was very surprised at how offensive congress was in the drilling of questions and demanding an explanation for gas prices, the rapid increase, and even a incentive that was paid to a big oil executive that I think they said was near 400 million dollars.
I give kudos to congress for asking the questions we all want to know. I so often get the idea that congress is in bed with the oil companies and things will never change because of all the money coming in and changing hands and buying people off. Maybe there is hope though…I guess we will wait and see.
