Ex-Member Contribution

by Rusty on Jun.20, 2008, under Liberty League International

Recently I have been contacted by another former member of Liberty League International.  This persons story is similar to a lot of others who have gone as far as to join but quickly found out it’s not what it was all cranked up to be in the interview phone call, you know the one you must take to even find out what the opportunity is.

This person found themselves out on their own with no support from their advisor.  They were promised that by purchasing the Beyond Freedom they would be making money fast.  After spending $1595 on the course, the member was made to feel like any failures were of their own doing and from lack of following the program completely.  They made an effort to sell the products and did so on their own without any help or guidance.  It didn’t take long before they gave it up as they had made no progress.

This is another story that once again completely contradicts what the “hard core” Liberty League Members talk of.  If you get involved with LLI, then you should expect advisors to make you feel like you have to make sizable investments to be successful.  Tony says you only have to spend $49.95 to start out but do your research and you find out that only gets you a “partial” membership and you still have to become qualified before making any money.  There is additional cost associated with trying to run this opportunity.  From my research, one should expect to pay a minimum of $2200 a year to even have a ghost of a chance of making any money.

Don’t expect to gain the lavish lifestyle portrayed on the websites, it seems most never even recoup their initial investment.

Thank you to the member who contacted me and providing me with the inside prospective from this company.  These are the ones that give the best look into what one can expect after joining LLI

Goverment Action Against Liberty League International

by Rusty on Jun.13, 2008, under Liberty League International, Uncategorized

From www.bbb.org

On May 24, 2006, the Arizona Attorney General announced a settlement with Liberty League International and their principles Brent Payne and Shane Krider. The consent judgment resolved complaints that the multi-level marketing corporation “tricked” consumers into spending money by promising “sizable commissions” if they marketed three personal development products and recruited new participants into their program. According to the document filed in Superior Court, the program participants didn’t earn enough money to cover the cost spent on the products they were selling.

The Settlement requires Liberty League International to pay $100,000 in civil penalties, refrain from making unsubstantiated earnings claims, advise consumers of the correct percentage of participants that have made a profit through the Liberty League Program and refrain from making false and deceptive claims in their marketing materials.

For further information on this settlement you may wish to visit the Arizona Attorney General’s website at www.attorney_general.state.az.us.

Rachel Oliver And Liberty League… Agian

by Rusty on Jun.12, 2008, under Liberty League International, Rachel Oliver

I was just through writing on this topic as I feel my point and warning was clear but thanks to a few rants from obvious Liberty League members, its been brought back to the surface. Todays post is more about things I wonder rather than what they are. Enjoy!

I keep details about the visitors to this site, mainly where the visitors are located and what search terms brought them to my site. Over the past few months I have noticed a distinct pattern in something. I get people daily that come on the search terms of Liberty League International or Zenaida Lorenzo and sometimes just sporadic other people running the LLI websites. There is no pattern or concentration to where these people come from, usually scattered all over the US and from other countries.
One that does stand out however is Rachel Oliver. About 846 people last month came here by searching her name in search engines. One big difference is, there is a pattern. I realize that she is from Australia, but so are all the people that are searching for her, usually within a select few cities. Does she market in a way that’s different that other Liberty Leaguers do? She obviously does a better job of marketing due to the lopsided traffic favoring her over the others.
Do the others just rely on the lame websites to do the recruiting while Rachel is out in public face-to-face working it? I would love to know, as marketing and sales are interesting to me. I still think it’s a crackpot scheme they are putting on but she must have a method that’s different. I even thought maybe the people of Australia were just smarter than others and taking the time to research something before jumping in. That was before today when I got a comment from someone Melbourne Victoria Australia named Belinda. She disproved that theory with a ignorant rant…see below

Dude.. if you dont even know who Tony Robbins is, and you put yourself out there as some Personal Development know all….. you are a laughing stock… Google the guy for heavens sake, and catch a wake up call.
Good for you Lon - at least YOU know what you’re talking about!
Anyone out there using this blog as information gathering tool - you have been completely misled. I suggest you check out either Rachels or Zenaida’s websites, get in touch and have a chat… you’ll be pleasantly surprised I think.

And my reply

My blog or this topic is not about Tony Robins so try to stay on course. I know its hard for you being brainwashed with cult propaganda. I can always spot a member by your style of attacking what goes against what you are a part of. Readers…let Belinda be an example of the type of people you get to deal with in Liberty League International. He/She is a fine example of the company they keep. Also Belinda, you are to stupid to even realize what this blog is, you claim I think I am a personal development know all, that’s not even close to what I do. I recommend people get the training for free off the many web resources available rather than being bent over by Liberty League for their products. Thank you for making your ignorant rant on my site, you help me make my point. Beware of Liberty League International.
