Goverment Action Against Liberty League International

From www.bbb.org

On May 24, 2006, the Arizona Attorney General announced a settlement with Liberty League International and their principles Brent Payne and Shane Krider. The consent judgment resolved complaints that the multi-level marketing corporation “tricked” consumers into spending money by promising “sizable commissions” if they marketed three personal development products and recruited new participants into their program. According to the document filed in Superior Court, the program participants didn’t earn enough money to cover the cost spent on the products they were selling.

The Settlement requires Liberty League International to pay $100,000 in civil penalties, refrain from making unsubstantiated earnings claims, advise consumers of the correct percentage of participants that have made a profit through the Liberty League Program and refrain from making false and deceptive claims in their marketing materials.

  1. Wow — this is certainly some old news to be dug up. Long ago and long-settled. It should also be noted that Liberty League International never missed a day of business.

There are two kinds of companies out there: scams that get shut down….and legitimate companies who resolve their issues and move forward. Liberty League is in the latter category as evidenced by the fact that they continue to be “in good standing” with the Attorney General of every state.

But, this article begs the question….what is the purpose of the MoneyXperiment.com? Is it to continually search for ways to disparage a leading company in network marketing? Because, at this point, it’s hard to see this website as much more than a deliberate attempt to malign a legitimate company despite the fact that thousands of people are getting incredible results with Liberty League’s products and income opportunity.

  2. Let me start by saying welcome back Tony, you seemed to have disappeared after the post were I requested the question and answer on Liberty League, that post is still open. The fact that Goverment action happened in 2006 shouldn’t discount from the fact that it DID happen. It’s factual and documented. The complaints outlined in the order are the same you hear today in 2008, your just getting away with it now. Your company also has an unsatisfactory rating with the Better Business Bureau do to its style of doing business; this is current as of today. People talk all over the web about Liberty League and how it’s a lousy product that is grossly overcharged for by people of a cult like following. Why don’t you provide proof that people are successful rather than just saying all the time that they are and making thousands of dollars and bla bla bla. You say the same thing on all the sites bashing LLI. For every member on the web saying what an awesome thing LLI is, there are 10 saying what a scam it is. Tony you seem like a nice guy but I disagree with what you are a part and what it does to people and that’s my prerogative (I get emails from people that have lost much money and some their families trying to be a part of LLI). I had moved past the LLI topic till a current LLI member came on here mouthing off. So the topic is reborn…

  3. Thank god i found this website you have totally opened my eyes, i actually spoke with rachel oliver and became suspicious as she basically said my business would fail unless i spent my 1500hundred then sirens began to sound in my head, get em interesed then take their money is what came to mind also they are very secretive which also gets to me and when i spoke to her she borderd on rude as if i didnt give her the 1500 she wasnt interesed in talking to me.
Please people just watch what you invest in or just give me your cash.
Also on a further note im a big believer in the secret and its philosiphy and i also found this a bit disturbing as they are using its success to sell their product.
